Walking & visiting
This 6 km hike, partly in undergrowth, follows the old Roman road.
The elevated situation of the section has made it possible to locate this Roman road, and the presence of a forest path that intersects it gives us a cross-sectional view of its construction.
Recognised as a "Great Cultural Route" by the Council of Europe, the Via Francigena links Canterbury to Rome via England, France, Switzerland and Italy.
