The Trail de la Maison du Comté

The trail de la croix du Dan (and the wind turbine nature race) becomes the trail de la Maison du Comté!

In 2026, the traditional Trail de Poligny is taking a new turn: it's moving to the Maison du Comté, a veritable showcase for the Jura region. Gone will be the Croix du Dan, replaced by the Trail de la Maison du Comté: a sporting, festive and gourmet event that combines authenticity and conviviality.

An iconic venue
Starting from the Maison du Comté, runners will take off from the main entrance before plunging into the Polynesian trails. They will finish in the green spaces, in the heart of a natural and welcoming setting, ideal for sharing a moment with family and friends.

Something for everyone!

* Three trail distances with evocative names, combining vineyards, forests and panoramic views of the Comté capital:
- The "Prestige": 32km - 890m D+ Start: 8.30am
- The "Fruité": 23km - 740m D+ Start: 9.00am
- Le Doux": 12km - 380m D+ Start: 9.30am
Unique routes, including "La Corniche", "La Culée de Vaux", the mythical "Croix du Dan" and the unusual discovery of the "Moulin sur l'Ereu"!

*A hike to discover the countryside without a stopwatch, and enjoy the atmosphere at your own pace.

*A children's race, because sport and fun start at a very young age.
In the green spaces of the Maison du Comté, the youngest will be able to run the race with the mascot "La Comtesse".
It's a fun, festive and friendly way to pass on a taste for sport from an early age!

*Sowing Hope" walk
Start: 9.45am for 12km
For over 20 years, the Semons l'Espoir association has been working alongside children in hospital and their families. Every day, it works to improve the living and care conditions of young patients at Besançon University Hospital and other health establishments in Franche-Comté.
Its mission is to provide a warm and caring environment for sick children, while offering invaluable support to their families at difficult times.
By taking part in the walk, you are making a direct contribution to this worthy cause: part of every registration fee goes to Semons l'Espoir.

After the effort, it's time for comfort: foodtrucks and stalls will let you enjoy a convivial moment in the purest Jura tradition. A blend of sport, local produce and sharing, the Trail de la Maison du Comté is more than just a race - it's an experience!
