Animals in the skin
Exhibition by Mushi, tattoo artist
From the Humpback Whale to the Tawny Owl, from the Northern Lynx to the Laughing Frog, Besançon-based tattoo artist Mushi Tattoo creates unique tattoos inspired by animal sounds. By inking the acoustic signatures of animals into the skin, her work links human and non-human animals, sounds and images, art and science, paying tribute to the beauty and fragility of living things.
