50 years of history, a future to write
The Aimée Césaire multimedia library is celebrating its 50th anniversary and is preparing to write a new chapter: its move to the Place des Lumières, in more accessible premises, in spring 2026.
To mark the occasion, the librarians have teamed up with Compagnie Teraluna to invite you to join them in celebrating half a century of stories, memories and sharing.

From 4 October to 13 December: free admission during opening hours, open to the general public.

Saturday 4 October: Whimsical and literary walks
Readings by librarians and Sébastian Barberon, from the Teraluna company. A stroll through memories and imagination, discovering the backstage areas of the media library, where books, places and voices come to life.

Saturday 13 December: Surprise party
Music, crêpes, fruit juice and a tombola! Before turning over a new leaf and moving to a new location, we're looking forward to a festive and convivial occasion to meet up, share memories and celebrate the media library of yesterday and tomorrow.
