An evening walk, an exceptional historic site and the gourmet pleasure of enjoying a fondue in the open air! A great opportunity to share a convivial evening at the Castel Saint-Denis in this 3rd edition of the "fondues de la randonnée".

Get ready for a memorable edition of the "Fondues de la Rando" at Castel Saint-Denis!

We invite you to experience this adventure where nature, history and gastronomy meet for a unique evening.
Meet at 6pm in Cléron or Scey-Maisières (the location will be reconfirmed 48 hours in advance) where our qualified guide will welcome you and guide you along the paths leading to Castel Saint-Denis.
After around 1? hours' walking (with a 200m climb) and a few explanations about the natural surroundings, you'll reach the heights of the Castel and discover the remains of this ancient fortified castle.
Let your imagination transport you back through the centuries and enjoy the soothing view over the valley.
Meanwhile, our guide will have prepared a tasty cheese fondue for you, the emblematic dish of our region.
Enjoy your meal while taking in the changing lights as night falls. With a bit of luck, a magnificent sunset will enhance the evening!
Once the feast is over, it's time to head back down under the glow of your headlamps and perhaps the stars (estimated time back to the cars: 1 hour).

Booking is essential and a minimum of 6 participants is required.

- Minimum age 10, accompanied by two adults.
- Difficulty level: beginner with a difference in altitude.
- The hike is supervised by a qualified guide to ensure your safety.
- In the event of heavy rain, the outing will be cancelled for safety and comfort reasons. It may be postponed to a later date. In the event of light rain, the outing will continue and the fondue will be served under cover so that you can enjoy it to the full. The itinerary may be slightly modified and the timetable changed in the event of very hot weather.
- Hiking shoes are compulsory, as is suitable clothing, a jacket (the evenings are cool), a bottle of water and a headlamp or torch for the return journey.
