The organ hours of summer 2025
The Friends of the Besançon Organ present the Organ Hours for the summer of 2025.
You will hear the historic Riepp-Kern organ, built in the 18th century, and the large contemporary organ built by Gonzalez. Both instruments will be played by the cathedral's organists and their guests.
For this second organ hour, Charles Metzger offers works by Bach, Roberday, Grigny, Buxtehude, Julien, Guilain, Haendel, Franck, Deshayes and Lefebure-Wely.
