A not-to-be-missed event in Burgundy this summer, the Jeudis du kiosque return with sounds, voices and atmospheres that will have you swaying to reggae, pop, jazz soul, rock and French chanson! On the program: Thursday, July 3 (20:00) CAESARIA English rock A revelation at the last Eurokéennes, Strasbourg's Caesaria continue to set stages alight with each of their performances. This is good English rock Manchester 90's, with big clubbing rhythms, influenced by The Strokes, Artic Monkey or Joy Division. Thursday, July 10 (20:00) BAZAR ET BÉMOLS Pop swing/French chanson Since 2007, Bazar et Bémols has been making swing pop with French lyrics. In 2022, the band added a drummer and released a new album full of contrasts. On stage, they reveal their complicity, energy and touching lyrics, but always with a touch of humor. LA SAZÓN Latin music (salsa) inspired by the 60s, 70s and 80s La Sazón are eight multi-instrumentalist musicians with a shared taste for salsa. They introduce us to the New York repertoire of the 70s and 80s, as well as original compositions. Percussion, vocals, good humor and a jazzy sound to season this frenzied music, that's what La Sazón is all about! Thursday, July 24 (8:00 pm) ROSAWAY Disco electro/Jazz soul Rosaway modernize the electro genre and add their own touch of jazz soul, affirming their already unique style. The two musicians come up with a groovy, mixed electro pop that feels good. Thursday, July 31 (20:00) MATHIEU GATTUSO French chanson A singer-guitarist from Burgundy, Mathieu has just released his first album. It's a great opportunity for this artist to present his autobiographical compositions at the bandstand. Guided by emotion and encounters, his lyrics convey values such as the right to dream, hope and belief in others and in the future. Thursday August 7 (20:00) RUM BUFFALO English pop rock/punk A sort of garage rock opera, a fusion of everything that moves, drawing in turn on alternative rock, fiery pop-rock and smoky blues. Thursday, August 14 (20:00) PAT KALLA & LE SUPER MOJO Mixed French chanson Pat Kalla and his Super Mojo are natural propagators of feverish, bubbling vibrations, and with Belle Terre they reveal a cleaner, airier African-disco groove, tinged with rumba, biguine and Afro-beat. Thursday August 21 (20:00) MALCOLM POTTER QUARTET Malcolm Potter is a bassist, singer and songwriter whose voice is often compared to that of Sting. His approach to music is a combination of pop music played by jazz musicians. Thursday August 28 (20:00) HOUSE OF BRASS Electro brass Revolutionizing the electro scene by fusing bass house and future house with explosive jazz brass. A project that transforms every concert into a euphoric rave, in the tradition of Meute and Too Many Zooz, enriched by machines and live drums.
