Screening: "Montessori: beyond the clichés

This documentary is aimed at parents of young children and those whose children are not yet at school or who are looking for an alternative to mainstream education.

We are in partnership with the Montessori school in Saint-Maur, run by Géraldine PIARD, the school's director and teacher.

This school is renowned for its commitment to Montessori education, a teaching method that places children's autonomy at the heart of learning.

The aim is to promote this educational approach, which is often wrongly judged, particularly on social networks where numerous parodies circulate and help to discredit it.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience, to gather their impressions and reactions. The discussion will be moderated by Géraldine Piard, who will answer questions and highlight certain aspects of the short film.

Finally, an aperitif featuring local produce will bring the discussion to a convivial close. This moment of sharing will contribute to our objective of promoting the Jura region and its culinary heritage.
