All these happy birds join together in the air, except for one, which falls, weighed down by an irresistible force of gravity. The little one has no wings; his original down has only produced feathers. While his siblings fly away without looking back to conquer the world from the skies, Oodaaq, after a few unsuccessful attempts at flight, must resign himself to conquering the world on the ground. Following the principle of the coming-of-age story, Oodaaq will evolve in more or less hostile worlds, meet characters who are more or less benevolent, and go through trials that will help him transform, grow, and build his own identity.
