Each course lasts a week, with a few adaptations for each period.
About your physical condition :
These courses require you to be in good physical condition. You will be moving regularly at a speed of around 12 km/h, on all types of terrain. Regular skating (or classic) skiing is essential (more than one week a year).
To prepare yourself, put on your skis before the course and keep fit by doing regular endurance exercise (walking, running, cycling, swimming, etc.). You can also improve your balance by rollerblading or ice skating.
Course content :
practice of all the steps, adaptation to the terrain and glide.
technical advice adapted to long distances (nutrition, skating technique, improving gliding phases, effort management, race tactics)
appropriate physical training.
specific topos (equipment, waxing, stretching, diet advice, etc.)
personalised video corrections
waxing, equipment maintenance.
