Un dimanche au musée - Concert by Olivier Laville

Once a month, come and enjoy a concert, an afternoon of board games or a yoga session on a Sunday afternoon at the museum.

This month, the museum is offering a concert by pianist Olivier Laville, with a selection of Préludes by Debussy and Balades by Brahms.

A graduate of the Musikhochschule in Freiburg and Köln and the CNSM in Paris, Olivier Laville trained with musicians such as Eric Le Sage and Claus Kanngiesser. Born in 1988, Olivier performs as a soloist, with orchestras and as a chamber musician. He has been a guest at numerous festivals in France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland, performing in ensembles ranging from solo piano to quintet with string quartet. A passionate fan of French music, his most recent CD, released on the Chanteloup Musique label, is devoted to the music of Charles Bordes, in a duet with pianist François-René Duchâble. Olivier holds a Certificat d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement (CA) and teaches piano at the Institut Jaques Dalcroze in Geneva.
