A Neolithic site, a church with a Comtois bell tower, a Roman road, a spring and the river Besançon, this pretty little village nestling in the heart of the reculée holds many surprises, a history strongly linked to the river and inhabitants in love with their little corner of paradise!
Its open-choir church is under the patronage of Saint Pierre es Liens. Its entrance is topped by a porch bell tower with a typical Comtois dome.
The "imperial" Comtois bell tower originated in Florence in the 14th century. It arrived late in Franche-Comté. There are 124 in the Jura.
