Visit to the mountain pastures with the shepherd and midday snack at the chalet

Come and discover the La Petite Echelle mountain pasture, the animals, the landscape and the job of a shepherd, followed by a regional snack! For all ages!
Located on the Mont d'Or, near Métabief, the La Petite Echelle mountain pasture welcomes you to discover the treasures of the Jura Mountains, the job of a shepherd and the animals on the farm, all while strolling through the pastures. Suitable for all, with a heated room in case of bad weather, the visit concludes with a short film about shepherds and a local snack (farmhouse bread, local cheeses, terrine, salad and home-made cake).

There are also games for children, donkeys, pigs, chickens, heifers and a small shop selling local produce. Self-guided mountain pasture discovery trail (1 hour).
