Les Gentianes

Chalet Gentiane, which sleeps 34, overlooks a vast landscape of wooded hills... It has 3 levels. Due to its location on a sloping site, access is possible on two levels. The building was refurbished in early 2011 to provide you with greater comfort while limiting our energy consumption.

The two upper floors (floor plans) are reserved for bedrooms and bathrooms, while the living areas (kitchen, dining room) are on the lower ground floor. From here you can walk straight out into the park. The building is separate from the main chalet, but the shared lawned grounds will allow you to eat at the outdoor tables, enjoy the barbecue or even light a campfire in fine weather.

The main room opens onto the lawn through large picture windows. It seats around thirty people. There's a fireplace and plenty of wood. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, hob, oven, extractor fan and dishwasher. It is separate from the main room.

11 bedrooms sleeping 2 to 4, with single beds and bunk beds. Sanitary facilities
(washbasins, WCs, showers) are available in sufficient numbers on the landings and even in some of the bedrooms. Since the beginning of 2023, the gite has had 11 completely renovated showers.

On-site activities: hiking, mountain biking, table tennis, climbing, zip line, archery, snowshoeing, playground...

Situated between the lake district, the Hérisson waterfalls and the ski slopes, the village of Chaux-des-Crotenay nestles on a plateau at an altitude of 800 m at the gateway to the Haut-Jura Regional Park.
