Swingolf du Plateau
The course is laid out on pastoral mid-mountain terrain, retaining its natural topology. The course is 1,200m long, with 9 successive playing areas ranging in length from 70m to 240m. Each ends in a flag area with a hole for swin marked by a white flag.
The par, which is the reference for the ideal number of strokes, is 3 strokes on a playing area of less than 100 m, 4 if the length is between 100 and 200 m and 5 for a length of more than 200.
Playing time is between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the number of players and their performance.
Swin golf applies the same rules as golf, but uses a larger, less dangerous ball.
The swin stick is handled like a golf club. It has 3 different angles of inclination, which are used alternately depending on the distance to be covered.
For swin, the starting lines on the teeing grounds are marked by white, blue and red cobblestones. The distance to the holes is shown on the sign bearing the hole number. Each player chooses his or her starting line according to his or her ability.
Foot golf can also be played on the Terre Ronde site.
