Pierrette and Claude open the doors to their haven of peace, nestling in the heart of the charming commune of Gondenans-Montby, between the Jura Mountains and the Vosges Massif. "Sous les Chênes" takes its name from the seven hundred-year-old oak trees surrounding the estate.

Ideally situated at the entrance to the village, this guest house offers a rural setting between the Doubs and Ognon valleys. From your windows, you can gaze up at the emblematic silhouette of Montby's medieval castle.

With a capacity of six people, this bed and breakfast also offers table d'hôtes and self-catering accommodation with a fully-equipped kitchen. The room, nestled in a charming chalet just a few steps from the main residence, offers a haven of tranquillity in the midst of lush countryside. The village grocery shop, just a stone's throw away, is transformed into a restaurant at weekends, inviting you on a much-appreciated culinary journey.

Lovers of sport and nature will be delighted by the proximity of the EuroVélo 6, (7 km away), and also by the GR® 59, which winds past the house.

The surrounding area is full of outdoor activities, offering the chance to recharge your batteries in contact with nature and Pierrette and Claude's animals. Hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing or simply relaxing in the garden, there's something for everyone in this unspoilt corner of Franche-Comté.
