Just a stone's throw from Besançon, La Comtoiserie welcomes you to a house of character lovingly restored by Carole and Benoît.
Formerly the home of the Governor of Paris, this building steeped in history has been restored to its former glory to become an address full of charm, where authenticity and comfort come together naturally. Three double rooms - Épicéa, Gentiane, Guimauve - await you, each carefully decorated in a soothing country style.

Surrounded by a 38-acre garden planted with trees, La Comtoiserie also has a terrace, an herbal tea room and a wellness area (sauna, jacuzzi, massages), which is currently being fitted out, to make every stay a truly relaxing break.

It's also an ideal base from which to discover the riches of the Franche-Comté region: the Besançon Citadel (UNESCO), the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans, the nearby Maisons Comtoises museum, and the surrounding hiking trails, cycling routes (including EuroVélo 6), golf courses, caves and vineyards.

Carole and Benoît, who are passionate about meeting people, are keen to offer more than just accommodation: they want to give you a real experience. Attentive and warm, they love to welcome and share, with simplicity and generosity.

Every morning, you'll be served a home-made, local and seasonal breakfast: fresh bread, home-made jams, freshly squeezed juices, cakes of the day... A delicious and convivial moment, reflecting their attachment to the land.

And to extend the experience, a shop offers a selection of regional products for sale: Comtois specialities, home-made sweets, local creations... All you need to leave with is an authentic souvenir or a gift to share.
