Come and spend a weekend or a week with family or friends in this 18th century stone house that we have completely restored in the heart of a Jura valley. You can relax in the comfort of the gite or stroll through the orchard or along the river.

This guest house has a pleasant living room with a fully-equipped kitchen and a sitting room where you can relax and read.
The accommodation comprises 2 spacious bedrooms, each with en suite facilities and equipped with a TV and wi-fi or ethernet cable internet connection. Each room opens onto the communal kitchen/dining area, and has direct access via the balcony. They can be locked.

>> The "grand-duc" bedroom is made up of 2 areas: on the ground floor, a 140x190 bed, a shower room and a separate toilet, and on the first floor (access via a fairly steep staircase) 2 90x190 beds.

>> The "chamois" bedroom has a queen-size bed (160x200), a shower room, separate WC and a TV area with a sofa bed that can accommodate 1 or 2 extra people (on request from the owners).

The wooden beams, panelling and furnishings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is tasteful and warm. The bedrooms feature antique furniture that the owners have taken great pleasure in restoring.

In the kitchen, you'll find modern, functional equipment, but with personalised, and therefore unique, fronts.

For your comfort, beds are made on arrival and towels are provided.
At your disposal: a laundry room with washbasin, tumble dryer and washing machine.

Outside, you can enjoy a covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
And let yourself be lulled by the river Gizia as it flows through the village!



The accommodation can be rented in its entirety or just the rooms as a bed and breakfast.


Ideally situated for discovering the natural and cultural riches of the Jura: footpaths, lakes and waterfalls, vineyards, historic sites, forests, villages... And you can even try an excursion to nearby Burgundy!

In the heart of the remote Jura village of Gizia, this charming guest house is ideally placed for a peaceful, cultural holiday, but also for a sporting one, right next to the hiking, Via Cluny, mountain biking and cycling routes.
From the gîte, you can explore the belvedere at Chanelet or Châtel, offering a spectacular view over the Bresse Burgundy plain and the village of Gizia, and perhaps come across a chamois along the way!

In this unspoilt environment, naturalists won't want to forget their binoculars and camera as they set off to discover chamois, peregrine falcons, dippers, orchids and the rare Gizia saxifrage. The luckiest hikers may even be lucky enough to spot a lynx.
