Sessius 1622 is a charming, design-oriented mansion set in the 17th-century Cologny Castle.
Spread over three floors with an impressive courtyard and a welcoming garden overlooking Mont Blanc, the house has been recently renovated in a style that draws its inspiration from the owners' international design and objects collection.
Our guests can choose between five rooms, ranging from 26 to 50 m2. Each room is decorated differently with collector’s pieces and design so that our guests feel welcome in our unique mansion.

The property includes a charming loft of 65 m2 separated, nestled between the courtyard and the large old barn, with its own kitchen, living room, sleeping area and bathroom.

The rooms are equipped with quality bed linen and towels, as well as luxury toiletries.

The mansion was planned and built 400 years ago, so it is not possible to install an elevator. Unfortunately, at this point we cannot accommodate people with disabilities who cannot climb the stairs.

Kitchen
We love authentic flavors and our cuisine is flavored with fresh, seasonal food from small producers. We are fully committed to sustainability and do our best to avoid food waste.
Breakfast: it is served daily from 7:30 am to 10:30 am in our dining room and we will provide you the day before a menu to choose from. We source from quality-oriented small producers for all our breakfast products.

Events
We are delighted to organize celebrations in our warm and intimate property: aperitif dinner, buffet, cocktail, birthdays, weddings, corporate events, seminars, meetings, business dinner, product launch, reception, family celebrations, reunion with friends.
We can make the entire property available and offer all services, from gourmet catering to floral decoration, children’s entertainment, photography and videography. We offer personalized services to ensure that our guests enjoy the highest standards of hospitality.

Garden
A cosy nest at the foot of the Jura, where colours and scents follow one another over the four seasons. Large lime trees are home to about fifty different varieties of camellias. More than 60 rose plants sit alongside tall, slender cypresses, summer pear trees and a climbing vine. While a beautiful purple wisteria embraces the mansion surrounded by osmanthes and birches. We promote biodiversity to provide a safe haven for birds, insects and other animals in the region.

The sweetness of life
Each guest is welcomed at the mansion as our own guest. We are attached to a gentle lifestyle and do our best to make the property a haven of relaxation, free of stress. We promote and practice respect for our customers, employees and neighbours.
The property dates from 1622 and is an excellent example of French architecture in the area. We are committed to preserving the historic features of the mansion and investing in its restoration and renovation. We would be grateful if you would join our spirit and efforts in treating the property with caution and respect.

Durability
We have eliminated 90% of the plastic in the house and only use natural materials such as cotton, linen and wool. Part of our garden has been developed according to biodiversity standards and we maintain a pollinator-friendly area.

Location
Sessius 1622 is located in Cessy, France, a short distance from Geneva International Airport, Palexpo and many United Nations organizations, banks and corporate headquarters. Although we can arrange transfers to/from Geneva airport and train station, the property is easily accessible by public transport - F bus from Cornavin train station.
