GR 9 from Saint-Amour to Mijoux

Saint-Amour is the starting point of this GR which can take you all the way to the Mediterranean.

In the Jura, the GR9 crosses the department from west to east, from the plains to the summits of the Jura Mountains over 130km. Ideal for touring, there are numerous accommodations for hikers along the route (stopover gites, hotels, bed and breakfasts, campsites, etc.). This hike, which lasts several days, allows you to discover the many landscapes of the Jura. From the South Revermont to the Haut-Jura, passing through the Pays des Lacs and the Petite Montagne, hikers can discover the typical villages of the South Revermont and the Petite Montagne with their southern accents, the Vouglans lake and its dam, the mysterious Antre lake, the toy town of Moirans-en-Montagne, the Bienne valley, the numerous viewpoints of the Haut-Jura: Crêt Pela, les Dappes...
