Where to park: Hyèvre Paroisse town hall

Visits: fountain listed as a Historic Monument in Hyèvre Paroisse (19th century) / 18th century church of Saint Pierre in Hyèvre Paroisse with a mansion dating from 1758.

Favourite: the legend of Gargantua's armchair
The giant Gargantua, passing through our beautiful region, wanted to stop and drink from the Doubs river. He sat down on the right bank and the ground sank under his weight, leaving an imprint. Thus was born the "Fauteil de Gargantua", which can be seen on this route.
