Breathe in the authenticity of the Haut-Doubs in the Combe d'Hauterive at an altitude of 1,100 metres in a small hamlet nestling in the forest, where Jacques and Karine welcome you to their 3 cosy gîtes in a typical Comtoise farmhouse or detached chalet. Direct access to the cross-country, skating, horse-drawn sleigh and snowshoe trails of the Haut-Saugeais Blanc. In summer, you can do the same thing, but on foot or mountain bike, on hiking trails that take you across the border into Switzerland. The feeling of isolation is relative in this hamlet just a few kilometres from Montbenoît, Pontarlier and Morteau, with its shops, culture, gastronomy and abbey.
