Gîte Chez Titi

The gîte "chez Titi" is in a detached house located in the centre of the village of Foncine Le Haut, a small tourist resort in the Haut-Jura (900 m altitude).
The house has a surface area of 90 m2 between the ground floor and the 1st floor:
* 56 m2, located on the ground floor of the house with:
-15 m2 fitted kitchen (oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, pressure cooker, toaster, fondue/raclette set, ceramic hob, fridge), large dining table. The freezer is in the small chalet "veranda" (see further on in the advert).
-Bathroom with double washbasin and shower.
-Pellet stove in the entrance hallway, very useful for winter evenings.
Large living room separated from the bedroom by a curtain (with corner sofa, coffee tables, TV and 4-seater table with 4 stools).
- Large bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps. An old fireplace serves as decoration and storage for board games.

* 1st floor:
- A 15m2 bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a 90x190 cm bed, 1 desk, bedside table and bedside lamps.
- a 12 m2 bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a desk and bedside lamps.
- Corridor and WC.
*Other equipment:
- Baby equipment (cot, high chair, changing mat)
- Snowshoes and poles (2 pairs), children's sledge.
- Tarmac courtyard for parking.
- Behind the house, you can enjoy a terrace with garden furniture, charcoal barbecue and parasol.
- Vast field, sometimes home to sheep, donkeys and chickens (managed by the neighbour). On this field, a small glazed chalet acts as a veranda, in which you have another set of garden furniture. A fenced-in area is also available for your dog if required. (Dogs are welcome free of charge in the gîte)
House in the centre of a tourist village, 100m from a bakery/cheese shop and 300m from a mini-market and the river.
In the village: ski slopes (downhill, cross-country, snowshoeing), hiking, tennis, pétanque, cinema, doctor.
Many walks (on foot, by bike, on snowshoes) can be made from the house in the vicinity of the village.
The nearest lakes are 15 minutes away by car (Lac du Frasnois, Ilay, Narlay, etc.), 30 minutes away (Lac de Chalain, Malbuisson) and the Hérisson waterfalls are 20 minutes away by car.
The major Jura ski resorts are also 1/2 to 3/4 hour away by car (Les Rousses, Métabief), but Foncine le Haut has a ski lift so you can enjoy snow sports at a low price, with a ski school at your disposal.
PRICES vary according to the day of the year. The ADVERTISED RATE IS FOR 2 PERSONS (occupying the ground floor room). For any additional person, an extra €10 per night will be charged.
During the school holidays, rental is usually by the week, but outside these periods, you can rent for a few days (4 nights minimum).
