Gîte de Chalour

Welcome to Gîte de Chalour, a character gîte for 14 people in the heart of the Ain region.
Between nature and heritage, this former 18th century coaching inn is a place steeped in history, marked by the construction of the Cize Bolozon dam in the 1930s and the events of the Second World War.
This charming gîte opens its doors to you for a unique stay, combining authenticity and comfort. Large, bright living spaces. All the renovation work carried out has preserved the period furnishings, the parquet flooring and the family home decor.

Located in Corveissiat, it's the perfect place for hiking, biking and discovering the local heritage.
Do you know the gorges de l'Ain? Beautiful walks with magnificent panoramas. When the weather's fine, take a refreshing dip in the Cerdon caves: a fascinating journey to the heart of prehistory. For a gastronomic experience, discover the region's specialties - quenelles with Nantua sauce, frogs, Comté cheese. Would you like to taste this PDO cheese? And what if your stay was all about family fun around the private saltwater swimming pool (7*3.5 and 1.5 m deep at its deepest point). Outdoor games await you - table tennis, trampoline...

First floor: kitchen opening onto living room and sitting room. Storeroom. Shower room with WC. Separate WC.
1st floor: 6 bedrooms: 3 with 160x200 beds, 1 with 4x90 bunk beds, 1 with 1 90cm bed and 1 with 3 80cm beds, 2 of which can be twinned. 2 bedrooms have private shower rooms. 1 shower room, 1 bathroom, 1 separate WC.

Travel light: beds made on arrival, towels and household linen provided. Charges included Pellet heating. Optional (recommended): cleaning package 180€.
Cargo bike for 3 children available on request. Electric vehicle terminal available. Parking for 5 cars.
