In the heart of the countryside in a small, peaceful village in the Haut-Jura at an altitude of 720 m, come and stay for a complete change of scenery, summer or winter, in this comfortable, fully renovated, low-energy studio (33 m2 floor area) on the 1st floor of a detached house in a condominium close to Saint-Claude, the pipe-making capital of the world, not forgetting the diamonds.
You'll love the space, independence and coolness. It will be ideal for hikers who love nature, admirers of waterfalls, lovers of canyoning located 4 minutes from the accommodation, not forgetting bathing in the many lakes that make up our region.
The gîte comprises a dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen and small appliances, including the essential raclette and fondue machine, a large living room with sofa bed, and a shower room with shower and WC.
There is a utility room with washing machine.
An extra person can be accommodated on request from the owner. (extra bed)
Motorbike, bicycle, trail and paragliding enthusiasts will be very welcome and have access to a garage. You can also use the land adjoining the house to pitch a tent.
Winter tyres and socks are essential for access to the village in winter.

Linen, towels and bed linen are available on request.
Pets are welcome. We have two cats, Kiron the ginger and Eclipse the black.

Outside, you'll find a balcony, a large garden, a terrace with garden furniture, an outdoor dining table, a barbecue and deckchairs in the shade of the tall pine trees to enjoy the view.

Ideally located for outdoor activities: cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and also for discovering tourist sites such as the pipe and diamond museum in Saint-Claude and its Abbey, the Paul-Emile Victor polar park and its ice rink, the Fort des Rousses...

You can also take advantage of the two fruit producers close to the village and our neighbouring vegetable producers, who offer platters of charcuterie and dairy products that you can pre-order.
Lovers of Jura wines, particularly vin jaune and vin de paille, can sample them at "Champs Divin" 39, rue du château 39570 Gevingey (the closest to the accommodation).
