Le Séran - Domaine de La Lavanche

La Lavanche is a former 17th-century monastery set in the heart of a 13-hectare estate of meadows and forests, once the site of the Carthusian monks of Arvières' vineyard, located at an altitude of 400 metres at the foot of Grand Colombier, which rises to 1,531 metres.
Exceptional panoramic views of the Bugey, the Chartreuse massif and the Lavours marshes nature reserve.
La Lavanche also has a spring water pool where you can cool off after a hike in the woods.
There are many outdoor activities available from the La Lavanche estate: mountain biking on marked trails, climbing the Grand Colombier (1,500 metres) for trail runners and cyclists, and on the second Saturday of June, July, August and September, the Colombier road (Culoz side) is exclusively reserved for cyclists from 7am to 3pm.
Located 30 minutes from the slopes of Les Plans d'Hotonnes ski resort and the wide open spaces of the Retord Plateau, close to the Grande Traversée du Jura, Ain à Cheval and Via Rhôna in Culoz (9 km).
River cruises are available on the Upper Rhône Canal and Lake Bourget.
The ‘Séran’ gîte is a 65 m² apartment for 5 to 7 people, on the 1st floor, accessed via a staircase and wooden balcony, with 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 living room with 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet; one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single bunk beds and one single bed.
