Le gîte de Fourg

Our gite offers a relaxing break for everyone.

The house and its garden are ideally situated for visiting the local heritage, enjoying nature or discovering local specialities.

Nearby, you can visit the Arc-et-Senans and Salins-les-Bains salt works, Arbois and its wines, Besançon and its citadel, the Loue valley with Ornans and the Courbet museum, the Comté fruit factories, and swim in the various lakes, kayak on the Loue, go paragliding from Mont Poupet, take advantage of the cycle route that passes through the village, go hiking or mountain biking in the Chaux forest from the gite, fish in the Loue, take a health cure at Salins-les-Bains...or enjoy the garden!

You'll be staying in a detached 120m2 house with a direct view over the countryside and the Chaux forest.

Ground floor:
-an entrance hall with storage space
-a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen: fan-assisted oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, induction hob, Senseo coffee machine, toaster, kettle, raclette/fondue/waffle set, etc.
living/dining room with flat-screen TV and Orange bouquet (fibre), wood-burning stove (wood provided)
-one bedroom (double bed) with desk and TV, on the ground floor
-bathroom with Italian shower with seat and support handles
-separate WC with 2 support handles

First floor:
-1 bedroom with 2 single beds
-1 bedroom with double bed
-A bedroom/playroom with lots of games and books for all ages. The sofa bed has a Bultex mattress for comfort (bed 140).

Each bedroom has a large wardrobe.

Free Wifi available (ORANGE fibre)

Outside :
-2 sets of garden furniture for 8 people with parasol
-Garden furniture in the shade of the cherry tree for napping and reading
-Weber charcoal barbecue
-plenty of games for children: tractors, wheelbarrow, skittles, balls, ....

You can relax in the garden planted with summer fruit (raspberries, redcurrants, blackberries, ....) depending on the season.

Sheets and household linen are not provided. However, we do offer a bed linen and towel pack at €12/person (please ask when booking).
End-of-stay cleaning must be done by the tenant before departure or as an optional extra (100€ to be confirmed when booking).
