Le gîte de Fourg

Our gite offers a relaxing stay for everyone.

The house and its garden are ideally situated for visiting the local heritage, enjoying nature or tasting the local specialities.

Nearby, you can visit the Arc-et-Senans and Salins les Bains salt works, Arbois and its wines, Besançon and its citadel, the Loue valley with Ornans and the Courbet museum, the Comté fruit factories, swimming in the various lakes, kayaking on the Loue, paragliding from Mont Poupet, cycling along the cycle route which passes through the village, hiking or mountain biking in the Chaux forest from the gite, fishing in the Loue .. or enjoy the garden!

You will be accommodated in an independent house of 120m2 with direct view on the countryside and the forest of Chaux.

On the ground floor:
-an entrance with storage
-a spacious fully equipped kitchen: fan oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, induction hob, Senseo coffee maker, toaster, kettle, raclette/fondue set
-a living/dining room with flat screen TV equipped with Orange bouquet, a wood burning stove
-a bedroom (double bed) with desk and TV, on the same level
-a bathroom with Italian shower with seat and support handles
-separate WC with 2 support handles

On the first floor:
-1 bedroom with 2 single beds
-1 bedroom with a double bed
-A bedroom/playroom with many games and books for all ages. The sofa bed is equipped with a Bultex mattress for comfort

Each room has a large wardrobe.

Outside :
-Garden furniture for 8 persons with parasol
-Garden furniture in the shade of the cherry tree for napping and reading
-A Weber charcoal barbecue

You can rest in the garden with summer fruits (raspberries, redcurrants, blackberries, ....) depending on the period

Sheets and household linen are not provided, the end of stay cleaning is to be done by the tenant before his departure.
