Welcome to Maria and Patrick's gîte: located on the 1st floor of the owners' house, it comprises a bright living room with fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with pellet stove (provided free of charge) and TV (Netflix available), 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed (160*200) and the second with 2 single beds (90*200) that can be twinned to form a king-size bed, a shower room with WC and a dressing room. Maria, a keen decorator, has added her own personal touch to create a very cosy gîte. You can enjoy the garden, complete with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. For your comfort, beds will be made on arrival and towels provided. Ideally situated 5 minutes from the centre of Dole, a town of art and history, you can wander through the narrow streets to discover its rich heritage, take a stroll along the canal des tanneurs or take a trip on an electric boat on the Doubs. Cycling and walking enthusiasts can take the Eurovélo 6 (linking Nantes to Constanta in Romania) or the Jules Grévy greenway, which takes you as far as Mont-sous Vaudrey. Food lovers will not be outdone, as the town boasts a number of restaurants. The motorway, just a few minutes from the gîte, will take you to Dijon in less than 30 minutes and to Besançon in 30 minutes.
