Les Isles

Ideally situated at the foot of Château-Chalon and on the banks of the Seille, a protected river, come and recharge your batteries in this little corner of paradise in the heart of nature. On the ground floor, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen with adjoining living area and uninterrupted views over the village of Château-Chalon, as well as a lounge with TV and DVD player for relaxing evenings with your partner, family or friends. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms with en suite shower rooms and WCs. For your comfort, beds will be made up on arrival and towels provided. Outside, you can enjoy the garden in front of the house, complete with garden furniture and barbecue. Nearby, you'll find plenty of things to see and do in the Jura region, including visits to two of France's most beautiful villages - Château-Chalon and Baumes-les-Messieurs - as well as vineyard walks, waterfalls, caves, abbeys, cellar tours and wine tasting. All amenities are in the village centre, a 10-minute walk away. Bike hire is available from the tourist office in the village centre. We will give you a warm welcome and be happy to answer any questions you may have about your stay. The owners : We are Marion and Jean-Baptiste, recently settled in the Jura. We love discovering the different regions of France. We are keen hikers and enjoy contemplating the remarkable landscapes that our new home has to offer. As food lovers, we'll be able to recommend some great places to eat. We would be delighted to welcome you to our gîte, which is located next to our home, in a peaceful setting by the river and at the foot of the vineyards. Welcoming without being intrusive, we will also be happy to recommend beautiful hiking trails, some of which pass right by the house. We look forward to meeting you.
