On the ground floor, you'll find an entrance hall with a bay window, where you'll find everything you need to store your jacket and shoes. This room also serves as a corridor leading to the bedrooms and shower room. The first bedroom has a 160*200 bed. The second has 2 bunk beds (4 x 90) with a desk and bookcase. There is also a shower room with a large shower and washing machine, and a separate WC. On the first floor, there is a very large living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa and TV. The living room opens onto a large 30 m² balcony where you can admire the breathtaking panoramic views. The garden adjoins the balcony, is partly enclosed and has garden furniture and a barbecue. On the second floor, there is a mezzanine with 2 80cm beds (which can be made into a 160cm bed) and a library area with books and board games. Ideally located: cross-country skiing behind the house, the marked trails are less than 800m away, 100m from the Grande Traversée du Jura, 400m away: dog sledding, opposite the chalet: sledging slopes. 3 km away is the village of Lajoux, home to the Parc Naturel du Haut-Jura and a dedicated visitors' centre. There is also a dairy, a post office and a ski equipment shop (for sale and hire). 5 km away, in Lamoura (tourist village), you'll find restaurants, a tourist office, a lapidary museum and Lac de Lamoura. 6 km away, in the centre of Septmoncel, you'll find a baker and grocery shop. Electricity charge: 340 kwh in winter and 170 kwh in summer - extra charge to be paid on site.
