This mid-mountain plateau, between 850 and 1,200 m altitude, has been awarded the "Station Verte de Vacances" label and offers a wide range of activities in an open-air setting.

Long renowned for the quality of its air, it was home to one of France's largest sanatoria and is now a regional center for convalescence and functional rehabilitation. The commune is recognized as a center of excellence for the rehabilitation of top-level athletes.

Close to the La Praille and Terre-Ronde ski areas, you can enjoy hiking (with or without snowshoes), cross-country and downhill skiing, dog-sledding, cani-karting, the "La Guinguette" via-ferrata, mountain biking... depending on the season.
Ideally positioned just a short drive from the Col du Grand Colombier, the Retord plateau, the Combe du Valromey, the Charabotte waterfall and the Lèbe observatory, you'll be able to plan some wonderful outings.
