Hamlet of Port Titi, for some very original photos
On the road between Pontarlier and Mouthe, stop for a break on the banks of Saint-Point Lake, the third biggest natural lake in France! Why not take a little lakeside walk to admire the tiny fishing village of Port Titi? Standing between the lake and the fir-tree forest, this small group of painted timber houses appears to come straight out of a postcard from Canada.
This has to be one of the most beautiful scenes you'll see in the Jura Mountains!
Take an alternative lake cruise
The boats of Saint-Point Lake propose some rather original excursions. Embark for a one-hour cruise with commentary or for drinks in the onboard "Apero-lounge" as you sail across the lake. You can even rent an electric boat to cruise at your own pace, or a larger vessel for a private function to celebrate a special occasion.
