Musée d'Armes Anciennes

Through the 600 exhibits, the museum offers its visitors a true retrospective of the armament and equipment of the French military, since the 17th century. Some forty extremely rare pieces ensure the international reputation of the Château de Joux museum. The visitor will appreciate the diversity of the weapons presented, as well as the richness and the "panache" of the old military headdresses.

The museum of ancient weapons is closed until further notice, some pieces are currently visible in the municipal museum of Pontarlier.
