The sector of Montbenoit, located in the north of the Jura massif, is a typical area of medium mountains: habitat with a well-preserved architectural heritage, scattered in scattered villages, preserved nature with a succession of combs and forests. 4 sites are grouped around Montbenoit and are ideal for Nordic activities: La Cernay Blanche, Arc-sous-Cicon, Haut Saugeais Blanc and Gilley, each with their own particularities
Arc-sous-Cicon, the northernmost village of this territory, the closest to Besançon is divided in two. Part of the tracks start directly from the village: from the green track to the red one. A black slope allows to join the other part, the Crêt Monniot, when snow conditions allow it
From the Crêt Monniot, higher up in altitude (1141 m), there are five cross-country ski trails, from the beginner trail to the black trail
Two snowshoe itineraries departing from Arc-sous-Cicon (one from the village, one from the Crêt Monniot)
Services offered: accommodation, equipment hire, off-bag room, information point, shops.
