Giron, a mid-mountain village at an altitude of 1,000 metres, is part of the southern Jura Mountains in the Ain département. Perched high on the mountain, the village offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area. - The second departure point, called La Frasse, is located at an altitude of 1150 metres, with pistes for all levels, from green to black. This is the finishing point of the Grande Traversée du Jura cross-country ski and snowshoe trail.
