Contrary to many villages in the Haut-Jurassien, you cannot leave from the village of Morbier itself. The first start of the slopes is on the Plaine des Marais, located a few kilometres from the village.

- La Plaine des Marais - Car park 1: main departure of the cross-country ski trails, it is the departure of the trails which regroups the most services and diversity of trails. It is also where you will find the downhill ski resort : the Gentianes resort.

- Le Glacier - Car park 3: The most famous start of Morbier, appreciated by local skiers as well as visitors, the Glacier offers a wide variety of runs, including the famous 23-kilometre long Morberande piste. Possible links with Bellefontaine via the Bois de Chaux Mourant or with Chapelle des Bois via the red piste of Les Mortes.
