Along the Swiss border, the village of Les Fourgs is what is known as a "resort village".
Les Fourgs - l'Herba: a family resort par excellence, the Les Fourgs ski area has all the services you need for a relaxing week: ski school, equipment hire, easy and more difficult slopes, play areas, toboggan runs, downhill ski area (13 runs from green to red + 1 snow garden with conveyor belt)...

There are 2 entrances to this ski area: La Coupe at Les Fourgs or La Seigne at Les Hôpitaux-Vieux. What's more, from Les Fourgs you can access the neighbouring Swiss ski areas of L'Auberson and Côte aux Fées.

Cross-country skiing: 12 trails - 84 km
Snowshoeing: 4 trails - 28 km

La Coupe floodlit run: 2.5km - Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8pm
La Seigne floodlit trail: 1.5km - Fridays, from 5pm to 8pm

Facilities: WC, hors sac room, fun stadium

The village of Les Fourgs is also crossed by the GTJ cross-country ski trail, which continues along the Jura massif to Giron in the Ain department.
