Crossed by a river with developed banks, Grand Besançon is located at the foothills of the Jura and presents a unique topography for outdoor practices. The City of Besançon, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site for its Vauban fortifications, is surrounded by 7 hills which offer as many spaces for varied and high-quality practices.

A territory with an altimetric difference of nearly 400 m, crossed by major itinerant routes such as the GR belt of the country of Besançon, the Via Francigena and the EuroVelo 6, our playground also offers more than 200 km of routes soft modes and 1,000 km of marked trails for all practices, accessible to walkers, hikers and mountain bikers to conquer the territory's hidden treasures.

The starting points of the routes are generally located near a car park and bus stop, do not hesitate to get there by bus, the GINKO network in Grand Besançon serves each municipality!
