For 4 days, motorcyclists can explore the Doubs and its picturesque roads in complete freedom: a 640km itinerary that subtly combines the pleasure of a road trip with the beauty of the countryside.
Programme: a 3-stage tour to discover the Doubs to your heart's content, with a stopover in Switzerland.
- Day 1: Arrival at Bonnétage
- Day 2: Bonnétage > Quingey - around 200 km.
The cirque de Consolation, the tuyé farms of the Haut Doubs, the château de Belvoir, the Cusancin valley, Baume-les-Dames, a town of character, the Doubs valley as far as Besançon: capital of the Comtoise region with its old town centre and Vauban's Citadel (UNESCO site), the Osselle cave and the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans (UNESCO site).
- Day 3: Quingey > Chapelle-des-Bois - approx. 180 km.
The source of the Lison, the Taillanderie at Nans-sous-Saint-Anne, the Château de Cléron, Ornans and the Gustave Courbet museum, the picturesque Loue valley to its source, the Mont-d'Or, the highest peak in the Doubs, the Métabief resort, the Remoray nature reserve, the Lac de Saint-Point, the Polar Park.
- Day 4: Chapelle-des-Bois > Bonnétage - approx. 260 km.
Joux castle, Pontarlier, capital of the Haut-Doubs, Montbenoît Abbey, Entreroches gorge, Morteau, Saut du Doubs, Goumois, Saint-Hippolyte and the Dessoubre valley.
