What is Aux Trois Coups?
It's an associative and participative café:
This means that the place is open to everyone and that, from the moment you become a member, you can take part in the life of the association and not just consume (which can be your free choice).
This association (law 1901) offers a place where you can have a drink, a small snack and often attend an event.
You can also buy some of the products on offer at the bar to take away with you, and others to discover.
Aux Trois Coups is even more than a café: it's a place for sharing, a place for cultural exchange in a family spirit (yes, there's something for young and old alike).
And it's all because at Aux Trois Coups, it's the "We" that gets involved and expresses itself, in other words every member of the association.
EVENTS
Events are proposed and planned either by the association's board of directors or by you, a member of the association.
Events can include a beer tasting evening (zythology evening), a concert, a show, an exhibition (photography, sculpture, poetry, etc.), a film, a role-playing day, a board games afternoon tea, an introduction to tapestry, a play run-in, etc. .... The events are open to all, friendly and non-religious.
A schedule will be sent to you regularly via our various networks.
THE PLACE
Aux Trois Coups can also make its stage and work space available for rehearsals for concerts, shows, writing residencies or meetings, for example. A financial contribution is requested to cover expenses, depending on the nature of the presence and the organisation requesting it.
FUNDING and OPERATION
The association's finances are financed by members' subscriptions (a minimum of 10 euros, with no limit on the amount!!! so you contribute as much as you can afford and in good conscience), income from bar sales and take-away products, and from evening events, which are sometimes ticketed or pay-what-you-can.
And voluntary work 'finances' the opening hours of the venue, as members who wish to get involved offer their time.
At the outset, a crowdfunding campaign raised 8,000 euros. With this money, we were able to renovate the premises to make them functional and pleasant.
The services provided by the contributors are generally chargeable unless they offer them to us in support of the association.
The main activity for tax purposes is the bar. Although the association does not enrich its directors (under the 1901 law) and is not a company, it is subject to VAT and corporation tax. So there is no unfair competition with other drinking establishments in the area. And we remind you that alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health.

PRODUCTS
The association holds a Licence III (Beverages with an alcohol content of 18° or less: wine, beer, cider, perry, port, crème de cassis, etc.).
The products on sale are carefully selected for their taste and manufacturing qualities.
Our café is designed to take you on a journey to these parts, but not only, thanks to a few flagship products: beer, coffee, tea and even herbal teas.
For example, we've looked for beers brewed close to home (and there are plenty!), herbal teas and herbal teas. ), herbal teas and syrups harvested by Menthe et Mélisse in the fields of the Doubs mountains (where we really want to go for a walk), charcuterie from Buffard made with love by Loïc and his dad, veggie terrines and pickles concocted by Bénédicte in Mouchard, and then there's the tea and coffee selected and roasted in Dole (ah yes, it's hard to find local crops, but the artisans in part of the production chain are). And there's so much more to discover!
Now that you know pretty much everything, you can join the association as a member if you feel like it. If there's anything you're not clear about, there's nothing like a chat. The association's office is open to any discussion!
We hope you'll find it as convivial as you'd hoped. In any case, we're counting on you to keep it going, because it's you - "We" - who are contributing to it from now on!
