Le Bistrot des Claquets

The Bistrot des Claquets (restaurant and wine bar), located on Place Faramand in the charming little town of Arbois, is renowned for its traditional dishes, its many wines, its warm, family atmosphere and its cool vintage decor.

Everything is homemade using fresh local produce. Simple, with no fuss, this friendly bistro is the ideal place for your lunch break. A unique daily menu is served for lunch, but you can also enjoy a well-stocked buffet of cold starters that change daily: salads, homemade terrines, fromage de tête... For the rest of the day, the bistro serves as a bar until 9pm, with occasional musical evenings.

The Bistrot has a loyal following of regulars, but visitors are also very welcome. They all recognise the excellent value for money. As with any place that is a victim of its own success, it can get crowded, so make sure you book ahead!
