Le Charleston is a must in Baume les Dames! The cuisine, both traditional and refined, is of high quality, the prices affordable and the atmosphere family-friendly. The dishes are hearty. The chef doesn't brag about it, but the Charleston has been awarded a toque by Gault & Millau and Routard 2025, and the menu includes the inevitable trout, among other regional specialities.
In summer, the terrace in the restaurant's backyard is very pleasant.
The service is friendly. If you're in a hurry, let the waitresses know and they'll be quick to respond.
