A real link between Burgundy and Franche-Comté, "Loiseau du Temps", whose name evokes the watchmaking expertise of Besançon (known as the Cité du Temps), is located on the ground floor of the superb listed building known as "Le Conservatoire". Set in the Place de la Révolution, on the banks of the River Doubs, this building was successively a former granary, a watchmaking school, and finally the regional conservatory.
Our "Loiseau du Temps" restaurant is devoting the week of 17 to 20 December to products from the Franche-Comté region.
To mark the occasion, Blanche Loiseau will be returning to Besançon as godmother of the GPPR (Gastronomy and Promotion of Regional Products)!
Each day of the week, she'll be cooking up an emblematic local product.
Every day, "Loiseau du Temps" celebrates the terroir of Franche-Comté in an accessible way (lunch menu from 28 euros).
The team is 100% from Biscay, led by chef Léo Pujol and manager Jérôme Hanriot.
Here's this week's programme:
Tuesday: Luxeuil ham
Wednesday: Bleu de Gex
Thursday: Mont d'or cheese
Friday: Morteau sausage
Saturday: a gala dinner featuring Comté cheese and Jura wines, with exclusive entertainment at a cost of €75 (excluding drinks).
A number of suppliers and the GPPR will be in attendance! Entertainment, gifts and surprises on offer.
