A small, intimate restaurant in the Vallée de la Loue. Don't look for a long menu here - everything is homemade, seasonal and based on what comes in directly from our local producers and market gardeners. Each week there are two menus to choose from, depending on what you fancy and your taste for discovery. A traditional dish versus one with flavours from faraway places... let your taste buds sing along!
Loue à la Bouche is located on the banks of the River Loue, overlooking the Castel Saint-Denis, just 10 minutes from Ornans, Amancey and Epeugney, and less than 30 minutes from Besançon and Pontarlier.
Enjoy the terrace in fine weather, with a view over the orchard sheltered by the natural shade, or opt for the restaurant in the old barn, or relax on the comfortable sofas in the intimate atmosphere of the vaulted room.
The preserved traces of the past and the antique decor, combined with the furniture and raw materials, give the place a soothing atmosphere.
In your glass, you'll find local, sustainable wine, local draught beer, juices and cocktails that change with the seasons, so you'll be sure to be surprised, far from the traditional mojito and spritz!
