Les Saveurs du Mont-Noir" is a butcher's and delicatessen that prepares delicious local specialities, entirely home-made. Passionate about his job, René Pommier and his team have been offering terrines, sausages and charcuterie from the Franc-Comté region for the past twenty years, in addition to the traditional meat products.

René Pommier is one of the only artisanal salami makers in the region, and favours old-fashioned processing and preparation techniques that respect the materials he sells. As he is keen to promote the local economy and guarantee the quality of his products, he works with local breeders to obtain the beef, veal, pork and lamb used to make his specialities.

With this guarantee of quality, the small business has been able to develop over the years, to make itself known and to benefit from word-of-mouth. Regularly offering new products and adapting perfectly to demand, the dynamic Foncinière house attracts many customers every day and actively participates in the promotion of short circuits and local producers.

The products sold in the Saveurs du Mont-Noir shop are also available in some of the surrounding fruit and vegetable shops and on certain markets in the area. A delivery service is provided every week in the communes near Foncine-le-Haut (orders can be placed by telephone).
