Founded in 1973 by Noel Thaurin, butcher, the company Thaurin Frères is specialized in curing hams in the traditional method, for private individuals as well as for professionals.
Over the years, Thaurin Frères Salting and Curing has expanded with a large manufacturing laboratory and a retail shop, combining modernity and traditional craftsmanship.
The Thaurin Frères company diversifies with the manufacture of many refined, dried, smoked and non-smoked specialities, jealously preserving the traditional methods that have made its success and reputation, with secrets of family recipes handed down from father to son .
Today, Thaurin cured meats are known and recognized for their delicious butcher specialties from Franche-Comté and Jura, including the famous smoked raw and cooked hams, sausages with Arbois wine (JURA) and smoked and dried pork cuts, still made and matured for a long time using traditional and artisanal methods.
