The history of the Maison de Jacote is closely linked to that of Jacot Billey.
Founded in 1935, this traditional cannery is the heir to a long tradition and expertise in Burgundy snails, which Murielle and Yannick continue to produce today with the same exacting standards and passion, following their purchase of the company in 2018.
Today, Jacot Billey is a cannery renowned for its snails, but in the past it also cooked vegetables and a range of other dishes.
In 2020, we launched Bocaux de Jacote, a delicious range of spreads and dishes cooked with love in our workshop. Chicken with Comté cheese, Paipé Fier, Houmous with grilled peppers... Our jars are lovingly prepared by Yannick, Alexis and Alain, using rigorously selected quality ingredients sourced as far as possible from local producers.
A traditional biscuit factory in Étupes. Alain, a former biscuit-maker, came up with the delicious idea of making savoury biscuits to accompany our aperitif spreads. And in particular, by going back to the traditional recipes of our region with the unmissable "sèche". There's only one step from savoury to sweet, and with Biscuits de Jacote we've created a range of delicious sweet and savoury biscuits with traditional and original recipes using quality ingredients rigorously selected from local producers.
