The Rucher des 2 Lacs is a small family business created by Jean-Baptiste GIRARD in 1983.
From the beginning, Jean-Baptiste focused on the production of local and quality honey. The company started in a small village near Besançon in Velesmes Essarts.
A few years later, he decided to move to the Haut-Doubs region, close to the Lac de Saint-Point in Labergement-Sainte-Marie. A privileged place for the harvest
Dandelion, mountain and fir tree honey.
Today, his two children, Johann and Mickaël, continue the activity. They look after 1000 hives in the region.
