Maison Debrie welcomes you to rue Velotte, in Montbéliard, Doubs. Founded 40 years ago by Jean-Pierre Debrie, it is now his son, Jean-Christophe Debrie, who is the worthy heir to this pastry and chocolate shop. For him, chocolate is a family heritage, but also a question of quality, tradition, creativity and hard work. The recipe is simple: it's by combining all these ingredients that you become a master in the art of chocolate.
At Maison Debrie, there's no limit to the delicacies you can enjoy: sweets, ballotins, bars, spreads, etc. The chocolate is made from a meticulous selection of the finest cocoa beans from carefully chosen destinations. You'll also find a range of confectionery products, in attractive boxes or loose, including delicious caramels, fruit jellies, macaroons and petits fours. The house also offers a wide range of chocolate and fruit desserts, logs, viennoiseries, sorbets and frozen desserts in all their variations. As the seasons go by, Jean-Christophe and his team are careful to renew their flavours and presentations, to favour fresh fruit in their entremets and sorbets, and to avoid adding sugar to their pastries.
Maison Debrie also offers a tea room from Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 11.30am and 2.30pm to 5.30pm, and on Sundays from 8.30am to 11am.
