The chocolate factory was founded in 1900 by Auguste Hirsinger.
Today, the family business is run by Edouard Hirsinger, Meilleur Ouvrier de France in the "Chocolatier - Confiseur" category since 1997.
Edouard Hirsinger is a pastry chef, chocolate maker and confectioner from Arbois. This Master acquired his high level of professional knowledge first in the family laboratory, then by undertaking a tour of France with the most prestigious chefs.
The quality of his new creations and the diversity of their flavours have earned him a certain reputation, prompting him to enter the competition for the Best Craftsmen in France.
It was on the theme of "childhood memories" that he created, among other things, a chocolate piece that earned him the highest distinction in his profession, that of MEILLEUR OUVRIER DE FRANCE 1996.
Here are just a few examples of the company's original creations: the Arboisien, the Galets and Tous t'chefs and the ballotin with assorted chocolates.
